Have you ever thought about how the world’s best brands tell their stories?

How Red Bull capture the drama of racing and recreate the heart-pounding adrenaline of their events within the confines of a corporate presentation?

How Net-a-Porter excite audiences with fashion trend predictions for upcoming seasons?

And how Team GB get potential sponsors’ hearts racing?

I’m going to let you in on a secret. They all trust Buffalo 7 to help them deliver amazing presentations. And they’re not the only ones. Our client portfolio is fit to burst, with inspirational brands such as BBC, Microsoft, Budweiser Budvar, Virgin Atlantic and Rimmel all working with us to craft and visualise their stories.

Buffalo 7 is an award-winning creative agency, based in the heart of Manchester. We never settle for anything less than extraordinary, and that extends to our team. We understand that the strength is in the herd, which is why we compose each of our creative teams as carefully as they craft our presentations. And we’re not one of those huge, heartless corporations. We know it’s corny, but we’re a family here. And this family creates magic when all our creative brain cells start sparking in harmony.

Under the protective branches of our studio’s namesake treehouse, our team have the freedom to explore innovative storytelling, design and development ideas. We are all experts in our roles, but no Buffalo is an island and our teams are encouraged to share skills, inspiration, or just cool stuff they’ve seen. We have a culture of collaboration here, which is applied to every client project, as well as the company’s own brand journey, and right through to our monthly beers and ideas sessions, PowerPints, where our lively bunch have a few drinks and showcase work or personal projects designed to inspire and get everyone hyped.

We obviously have all the usual benefits, such as holidays that grow the longer you work here, free eye care, and supportive chairs, but you could go anywhere for that. Buffalo 7 is the place for you if you are looking for multiple creative breakaway spaces, flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle, and an incredible culture where you are surrounded by Manchester’s greatest creative minds (who love a drink on a Friday…or a Thursday…or you get the idea. Please drink from the beer fridge responsibly). We don’t mean to brag, but it’s no wonder Buffalo 7 was shortlisted for the Inspiring Spaces North 2018 award.

You need big aspirations to work here. We don’t stand still, and we don’t want our team members to become stagnant either. We prioritise each Buffalo’s growth, nurturing you to become better. We’re not completely selfless, we recognise that the more you grow, the more we grow, and the work that we create for our clients evolves too, which is why each team member gets their own pot of gold to put towards the training they’re most excited about. We have big dreams and we need your personal dreams to be just as outrageous, so we can all propel each other forward.

I think we’ve gone on about ourselves for long enough…

Let’s talk about you

You’re not afraid to get dirty. Everyone on the team rolls up their sleeves, gets stuck in and smiles while doing so.

You’re a creative problem solver, who is always striving to find ways to do things better.

You’re enthusiastic to build digital presentation experiences, and passionate about learning and progressing your skills.

You work on your own initiative, exploring areas of personal growth and finding productive ways to spend your downtime, for the good of the whole business.

You want to positively enhance the studio culture, making an active effort to inform, educate and inspire.

And we can’t get to the end of this list without mentioning PowerPoint. We love PowerPoint and we need you to as well. However, experience is an advantage but not necessary. It’s more important to us that you are excited to learn and become an asset to the business in many more ways than just PowerPoint expertise.

As a Creative Developer, you will:

Support the studio with expert knowledge of PowerPoint

Work independently, as well as part of the wider team, collaborating to elevate projects to the next level

Build technically-perfect templates to support beautifully-animated visual stories from scratch

Strive to expand your knowledge during downtime, come up with ways of improving studio processes, optimising efficiency and building on the company’s core offeringFind ways to make the software work; if your idea doesn’t fit the normal confines of PowerPoint, search for an answer

But what do I get?

Good question, kiddo. We like an inquisitive mind.

We have so much more to offer beyond a salary in the region of £18k-£20k (dependent on experience) and the opportunity to secure an end-of-year bonus. Just take a look at our massive package:
